Elizabeth Jachimowicz, who knew Ben Green-Field personally, was Curator of Costumes at the Chicago History Museum for fifteen years. During her tenure there she curated an exhibition on Bes-Ben millinery and another on his wardrobe. Prior to her arrival in Chicago, she was Curator of Costumes at the Museum of the City of New York. She is a founding director and past president of the Costume Society of America and past vice-chair of the Costume Committee of the International Council of Museums. A student of history and art history, she is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, and completed museum studies at École du Louvre in Paris. Elizabeth enjoys travel and is interested in archeology.
